A small bit of philosophical ponderance.

I ran across this in my old notebook, and I think it's from either a psychology class, or my philosophy of religion class:

"We hate in others those things, and only those things that we see and hate within ourselves." 

It's an interesting thought, anyway.

I think so too. It explains a lot of things. Pet peeves and the like. You feel horrible if you do it to someone else and you can't stand when someone does it to you.
